The Calm
behind
the Camera
Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I spent years in Customer Relations handling Executive Escalations, the kind of work that teaches you to stay calm when everyone around you isn't. It taught me to read people quickly, adapt the moment a plan falls apart, and anticipate what someone needs before they have to ask. Those aren't just corporate skills. They're exactly what a wedding day demands.
That foundation is why documenting a wedding feels like breathing to me. When the timeline shifts, the weather turns, or emotions run high, I don't rattle—I adjust, and I keep shooting.
Choosing to take my love for photography seriously is still one of the best decisions I've ever made. For 15 years, I've been capturing love stories across the PNW, and in that time I've seen just about everything: wild surprises, quiet unscripted moments, and the kind of beautiful chaos only a wedding day can produce. Through all of it, my love for this work hasn't faded. If anything, it's sharpened my eye and deepened my attention to detail.
I don't just photograph weddings. I show up steady, present, and ready for whatever the day brings, so you can just be in it.
