Photography is more than image... it’s a feeling, a memory, a way of holding on to what matters. My approach is rooted in presence, trust, and an eye for honest beauty. Each collection is crafted with intention, so that what we create together not only reflects this season of life, but elevates it into something lasting.
your story deserves more than a photoshoot. It deserves to be seen—clearly, softly, truthfully.
I recognize how essential it is for photographs to reflect your individual connection, so my focus is on candid interactions and authentic emotions that run true to your day. My eye for the little details and a deep appreciation for beauty found in un-scripted moments, enable me to create images that celebrate the love and memories you share together as your day unfolds.

While diving into Super 8, it became quite apparent that the anxiety of sending this crazy delicate film thru the mail to a lab (often outta state) to be handled and processed, digitized, and returned for me to then edit and work my magic was just too damn stressful of a process. I mean, these are your precious memories and the chances something going wrong during processing or it getting lost in the mail was too much of a risk for my soul.
With all the weddings I have photographed or attended, I cannot count the times I've spoken to couples who added on Super 8 video to their own wedding coverage only to have the film become either corrupted / damaged in processing, or lost in the mail. Hearing the pain in their voices from the loss of these precious memories, broke my heart.
Thus I searched for a way to still have all the feeling of shooting Super 8, but keep the process out of so many hands. My Super 8 footage is captured digitally, on a retro video camera, and processed with very specific editing to ensure the same look & feel of vintage Super 8 cameras. To my joy, the process has been 100x less stressful and results are just as perfectly imperfect.
With Candid Wedding Photography, the focus here is more about the people, and their real reactions or interactions. The goal is capturing authentic unposed "as it happens in the moment" images of emotions throughout your wedding day, without any posing, guidance, or staging by the photographer.
During certain events of the day, such as Getting Ready, Cocktail Hour, or the Reception for example, I tend to gravitate to this style and focus on all those beautiful candid reactions of the event - as they provide a very real and intimate perspective of that specific moment. It is not my focus for the whole day, cuz I feel there are certain events that do need more guidance. We can still make those events have a candid and documentary feel, but they are better photographed with everyone on the same page and understanding what you are trying to achieve photo wise.
Documentary Wedding Photography focuses more on interactions and connections as they happen naturally vs. capturing something that is staged or overly posed. This style helps provide an accurate representation of the people and events throughout your whole wedding day — so your images will showcase true-life reactions and candid moments, and not forcing you to be or act in a way that is not natural to you. I also try to include storytelling detail images about your day, to provide that full representation of how your wedding looked and felt.
There’s something undeniably magical about capturing life on Super 8... the soft focus & grain, the gentle flicker, the warm, nostalgic tones that make every moment feel timeless.
Super 8 doesn’t just record what happened; it preserves how it felt. The laughter in-between, the quiet squeeze of a hand, the wind catching a veil at golden hour—all of it becomes textured with emotion and authenticity. Unlike crisp digital perfection, Super 8 embraces imperfection, turning fleeting glances and spontaneous joy into a living memory that feels intimate, romantic, and beautifully real.
